Research activity

Giovanni Pau fonde ses recherches sur réseaux de communication, en particulier les réseaux véhiculaires et les systèmes de capteurs mobiles omniprésents. Il étudie la conception, la mise en œuvre et les évaluations des performances des protocoles réseau dans les scénarios très mobiles. Il œuvre également à la conception et au développement de systèmes mobiles cyber-physiques en développant une approche expérimentale. Il s'intéresse aussi aux systèmes distribués, incluant les systèmes d'information sur Internet, au peer-to-peer et à la réplication, avec un accent mis sur les applications de mobilité.
Giovanni Pau est titulaire de la chaire Atos/Renault à l'UPMC depuis janvier 2013.
