Résumé : Dans les communications personnelles, le contrôle de la mobilité en terme de mobilité du terminal, mobilité personnelle et portabilité du service est essentiel. D'autre part, le concept de Réseau Intelligent (RI) a été appliqué aux communications personnelles pour fournir des services avancés ainsi que la mobilité personnelle. Dans ce papier, nous analysons la façon dont le réseau intelligent offre la mobilité aux communicants à travers le service de Télécommunications Personnelles Universelles (TPU), et nous étendons ce service pour incorporer la mobilité du terminal. Cette étude porte tout d'abord sur l'intégration des réseaux mobiles et leur mobilité du terminal inhérente dans le RI pour le service TPU. Puis nous proposons une solution pour la mobilité en introduisant un service de mobilité du terminal basé sur le réseau intelligent, et qui est chaîné avec le service de mobilité personnelle fourni par TPU. Nous montrons le chaînage des ces deux services RI à travers le traitement d'appel. De plus, nous illustrons les concepts avec les procédures de service pour les appels entrants devant être acheminés à un abonné UPT utilisant un terminal mobile.

Abstract : In Personal Communications, mobility control in the form of terminal mobility, personal mobility and service portability is essential. On the other hand, the concept of Intelligent Network (IN) has been applied to Personal Communications to provide enhanced services as well as personal mobility. In this paper, we analyze the extent to which intelligent network is used in providing mobility through the Universal Personal Telecommunication (UPT) service and extend this capability to incorporate terminal mobility. This study focuses first on the integration of mobile networks with their inherent terminal mobility into the IN for UPT services. Subsequently, we propose a solution for mobility by introducing an IN-based terminal mobility service and chaining it with the personal mobility service provided by UPT. We show the chaining of the two IN-based services through the call model. Throughout, we illustrate the concepts through the service procedures for incoming calls terminated to a UPT subscriber using a mobile terminal.
