Résumé : L'échange d'audio et de vidéo entre utilisateurs est une notion importante dans la conception de services multimédias distribués. Le Consortium TINA (TINA-C) et le modèle de référence pour le traitement ouvert réparti (Reference Model of Open Distributed Processing (RM-ODP) ont tous les deux besoin de le supporter. L'objectif de cette présentation est de montrer comment RM-ODP peut être utilisé pour spécifier l'échange d'audio et de vidéo entre utilisateurs dans un environnement distribué. Elle fournit une spécification de l'échange d'audio et de vidéo multi-parties basée sur la notion de binding d'ODP. L'approche suivie peut servir d'exemple aux développeurs du RM-ODP et au groupe TINA-C qui en fait spécialise RM-ODP pour le domaine des télécommunications.

Abstract : Audio/video exchange between users is an important feature in the design of distributed multimedia services. Both Tina Consortium (TINA-C) and the Reference Model of Open Distributed Processing (RM-ODP) need to support it. The goal of this presentation is to show how RM-ODP can be used to specify audio/video exchange between users in a distributed environment. A specification of multiparty audio/video exchange is provided that is based on the ODP notion of stream binding. The followed approach can serve as feedback to the developers of RM-ODP and to the TINA-C group that are specializing RM-ODP for the Telecommunication area.
