Titre / Title: Explications et EIAO Actes de la journée du 26 janvier 1996, Université Paris 6 (PRC-IA)

Résumé : Ce rapport rassemble les communications présentées lors de la journée commune aux deux groupes de travail EIAO et Explication du PRC-GDR IA, qui a eu lieu le 26 janvier 1996 à Paris. Il reprend l'organisation de cette journée en trois sessions thématiques : explication et contexte, explication et dialogue (dialogue étant entendu au sens large de "interaction"), explication et didactique. Chaque session, composée de deux ou trois exposés suivis d'un débat, a donné lieu à la présentation et à la discussion de points de vue variés sur les explications dans les systèmes interactifs à base de connaissances et plus particulièrement dans les Environnements Interactifs d'Apprentissage avec Ordinateur, un des objectifs de la journée étant de préciser les spécificités des fonctions explicatives dans ces derniers.

Abstract : This report gathers the communications to the common meeting of two working groups, EIAO (Interactive Learning Environments) and Explanation, belonging to the PRC-GDR IA (National Research Program for Artificial Intelligence), held in Paris on January 1996, 26th. The papers were organized in three sessions covering the following topics: Explanation and context; explanation and dialog (or more generally interaction); explanation and didactics. Each session was composed of two or three presentations followed by a debate; several points of view on explanations in interactive knowledge-based systems and particularly in ILEs have been presented and discussed, one of the meeting's goals.being to precise the specificities of explanation capabilities in ILEs.
